Accounting - W. P. Carey School of Business

"MACC Program Overview
The MACC full-time program prepares students for a wide range of professional careers in accounting or consulting. It is structured to provide an in-depth working knowledge of advanced accounting topics most relevant in today’s business environment. Completion of this program (along with its accounting prerequisites) will fulfill the upper level accounting coursework requirements for CPA certification.

This is a nine-month, lockstep program that begins in the fall (August) and concludes the following spring (May). The academic year is divided into three 10-week trimesters, with classes meeting at various times during the day, Monday through Thursday, with a “Special Topics in Accounting” class meeting on selected Friday afternoons. This program also offers an Information Systems emphasis for interested students.

This is a full-time program with a full course load, so students are advised to limit other activities to less than 15 to 20 hours a week."
